New York, NY -- Serensoft will make a joint presentation with Messiah College at the national conference "Making Connections: ePortfolio, Integrative Learning, and Assessment", to be hosted by LaGuardia Community College in New York City on April 11-12, 2008.

The joint presentation by Messiah and Serensoft is titled "e-Portfolios in the Nursing Curriculum: Fostering Reflection and Improving Learning Outcomes." It will focus on Messiah's development of electronic portfolios in its Nursing curriculum: particularly, the strengths of OSPortfolio over their legacy system, challenges faced and obstacles overcome by IT in implementing the new system, and how Serensoft leveraged its expertise to iron out the entire process.

The "Making Connections" conference will provide a unique opportunity to examine the practice and promise of the transformative learning tool that is electronic portfolios. Leaders in electronic portfolios from across the country will be showcasing their efforts and demonstrating how electronic portfolios can improve learning outcomes.
